PROFILE

Jan Kochanowski University (JKU) in Kielce is one of twenty universities in Poland. Its origins date back to 1969, which marked the foundation of the Kielce Academy of Teachers. The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of Jan Kochanowski University invites international students to undertake medical studies in English. JKU is a fully independent scientific and educational centre with rich traditions, dating back almost half a century. The education of physicians at JKU draws on the tradition of medical training at Jagiellonian University Medical College - one of the oldest and most prestigious medical schools in Europe. The faculty offers impressive teaching and learning environment with up-to-date laboratories and an extensive range of clinical facilities, including one of the best hospitals in Poland. Moreover, a high level of education is ensured by a highly skilled, committed, and experienced staff.
